- 210421 – Replace Outside Air Dampers to Old Clark Mechanical Rooms – $1.5M – Replace all dampers on north and south mechanical rooms next to ongoing and active patients care areas that must remain active.
- 210435 – Alkek Steam Assessment – $450k – Complete a thorough investigation of the low/medium pressure steam systems within the Alkek Tower which is an active patient facility.
- 210441 – Bellaire RTU Replacement – $1.2M – 5000 SF – Replace three end of useful life RTU’s and adjust ducts within space for improved air flows, reduce hot/cold calls, and implement the complete system onto the BAS campus systems as this clinic is remote and not automated yet.
- 222238 – REF Main Campus Emer Potable Water Quick Fill Connections – $610k – Add quick connects for when City of Houston water is down to keep research moving forward. This will include emergency power and back up pumps internal to the buildings.
- 222239 – CPB Chilled Water Filtration – ~$50k – Thorough investigation of how to improve the incoming TECO chilled water and remove debris before it enters the expensive equipment that serves a main data center and patient care facility.
- 222244 – Evaluate BF/BRF Y1 Materials Management Area Heating – $300k – Investigation and repairs of how to improve the heating in the area that supplies materials to the main hospital, while staying cognizant the area will be demolished in the coming years.
- 222268 – Verification of Life Safety Drawings – $500k – ~4.4M SF – Thorough review with Life Safety Experts all drawings pertaining to Life Safety across the Patient Care buildings to ensure they are prepared for the Joint Commission review 2022.
